I just thought of something....What happens if you become jobless after filing bk? Does it even matter to them if you have a job or not?

Thats a good question.

I'm not sure if it matters as when you filed you filled out the info with current income. It might matter if they question pushing you into 13. I think more money not less would matter.

The trustee will ask if anything has changed since you filed. that's the time you tell them you are now unemployed

I just wondered if they would approve your bk if you tell them you quit your job due to relocation. I asked my lawyer and he said as long as you do not quit until they day after you file you are ok and as long as you are going to a less paying job you are fine.
