Means Test and 529 plans

I am close to passing the means test. I was wondering if it would be beneficial to deposit more money to my children's 529 plan?

The means test has to do with income and expense...the college savings plan is a luxury items so the monthly expense is typically not allowed.

as usual, hhm is right on. Our lawyer on FRIDAY did our means test- the monthly budget so to speak, where they see your income and expense in one month to see what you have left over....

well, he deleted ALL college savings RIGHT out of there!
