    Really need help

    Need some help, We were discharged last month. We are now 6 weeks late on our mortgage so another 6 weeks we will be the 3 months late. What stage should I move and what should i expect...
    I am in CT time line says day 1-15 titile search, days 30 - 75 complaint filed defaults entered, day 90 -150 judgement entered title vests in strict FC or sale. day 180 sale confirmed.

    I have children so i want to be out before they see anything.... I do not understand any of this and do not want to be in the house while people are on the front yard auctioning it while we sit inside.. does that happen?
    Is that time line day 1 after the 3 months late.

    Also at what time ( if any) would wells fargo offer a loan mod? the mortgage is about $600 more than I want to pay.... problay have 30K neg equity. We are leaving because if we stayed we would not be able to save, if we leave and get something cheaper we could save monthly and we do not want to ruin our fresh start.

    Worried about finding someehere with kids, 2 dogs, 2 cats and bad credit.

    I am assuming you did not reaffirm the house, and they aren’t working with you to save it. There will be many empty houses and I think you will find one you can afford. It is bad news for the house when left empty too long. It will degrade quickly and be ripped off for whatever is in it.

    You might also see what you can do with a Mobile Home. They usually are cheaper than renting and many with questionable credit can purchase. Your C7 is good in some cases as the lender knows you can’t do it again. Best I can do for you now. ‘Hub

      Have you called Wells Fargo? ask for the BK department. I'm not sure how they treated anyone else but they were nice to me. Yes they asked me if they could help me out

        wells fargo has loan modifications - but you'll need to get in contact with them. if you go to their website- www.wellsfargo.com there's a link under "payment challenges" situations for both mortgages and home equity. They will want to see you proof of income and a list of your expenses. Have that ready when you call. You should always call your servicer if you want to keep the house- most banks don't want to be in the real estate business.. They just want borrowers that can make their payments. Is your payment more than 35% of your income?
