Is this some sort of special interview you had to go through?Originally posted by jessegirl View PostHi Everyone, well its finally over and hopefully over... We got up there about 1/2 hour early. We were very nervous, eyes twitching and just nervous. So we go into a room, some what like a 341. He is there with an attorney, bankruptcy analyst and another women. So they put the tape recorder on and swear us in. And then the questions start. It was like a 341 but lasted about 1 1/2 hours, of questioning, YUP all questions. I hled it together and jsut told the truth. They were actually very nice and very respectful. When we were done I finally broke down a cried, not loud but tears. They were very sympathec and kind. They just said ok at the end and shook our hands and said you will be hearing from us within the next month.
It seemed to go well. I will say they asked very damn question imagineable. I was getting ready for the cavity search... LOL... Nahhh, but it was not no where as bad as i thought is was going to be.
The UST did most of the talking. They asked about 50-60 questions.
Thank God its over and hopefully its the end. They seemed to be satisfied with what they had. They were still missing quite a few cc statements, but they seemed to not care.
Thanks to all for the good wishes, prayers and for jsut being there for me. I truly appreciate it!!!! I was thinking about all of you when we were walking in to the room. He asked me some questions that I would of only knew the answers from this forum, so I was well prepared, eventhough, i didn't think so.
Hopefully, the hard part if over....

This was a 2004 ruling deposition with the UST. Not the reg. trustee. I was being audited because we were over the median and our cc charges were high.
My attorney claims that when you are over the median that immed. sends up a red flag to be audited. An audited is exactly what they did.
This is NOT the same as a 341 be any means..
These are the big guys that try to dismiss your case, push you into a chapter 13 or make an abuse claim against you.
We were initially contacted about 2 weeks after we filed our BK7 and they requested a sxxx load of information. Some which we were able to produce and some we weren't. We gave the UST all we can and never heard anything until the day we were to discharge. We thought all was good to go. And then BAM..... After that they requestd the same information again and then from there they sent us a letter to appear at the UST offices for a 2004 ruling deposition. And now thats over. THANK GOD... Talk about nervous. I am serious when I say our eyes were twitching.....You know you cannot control that. They must of seen that while they were questioning us.
Anyways, its over and hopefully behind us. Now i am hopeing for the discharge.

Thanks everyone...
I answered every frickin one of his questions.............WHen i seen the paper with all the questions i was like Holy XXXX! But, i got thru them. I know some of the questions were a trap to see if i would tell him the truth and I did. Acutally, when it was over, he thanked us for coming and said that I appreciate your honesty. Cause he said some people are not that truthful and they know, he said the answers are right in front of them.
I am going out tonight and having a cocktail and just celebrating that the deposition is over.......
Thanks again......

Good. It's over. Hopefully, you can find some way to relax and let it go and get on with your life. I know it's not totally over, but let's hope the fearful, gut-wrenching part is and maybe now it's just routine file and rubber stamp time. You know, you hung in there, and put one foot in front of the other every day and got through it. Give yourself a big pat on the back for being strong and capable. My very best to you moving forward . . . .

Wow Jessee good job, go have a drink lol...Congrats on getting thru it. Was there any questions that you couldnt answer? How in the world could you even remember the answers to that many questions. I think I would get very confused and go on tilt...
