    Can you believe it?

Last night on local TV news, they had a bit about a guy that was turned down for a job by TSA - Homeland Security at airports - because of his foreclosure.

They STILL have a manager working that was convicted of a porn charge!

Yeah, those clearance requirements can be pretty strict.

    That sucks for him.

In the end, the requirements are supposed to protect us, the theory that if you have crappy credit you may be more likely to "turn" or be persuaded by some monetary incentive to break the law.

But with this economy, there has to be some reform and look at the totality of a persons circumstances to make a decision.

There are going to be millions of us with crappy credit or credit issues when this is all over.

Wonder if the credit score models are going to accomodate for the nasty economy?

I don't really know how the models work precisely, but if they grade on a curve, so to speak, and compare everyone to the general population who's scores are going down, perhaps the scoring will be adjusted to reflect the economy?

Seems like the rules need to be relective of what is going on, not what it is like in a perfect world with a viable economy. ( score wise)

      I saw that too!!!

I think there is more to the story though...why would the guy need to "resign" his position with the TSA in order to "settle" his family into an apartment?

Either way, I'm glad they brought the credit checks to light, but I bet the mgr isn't to pleased he's been exposed!! literally!
