Should I just tell them to get it over with?

Okay so a lot of you have read my story, we were all set to file BK last month chp 7 then at the last minute the Lawyer said to wait for 30 days to see about the Senate bill and what it could do for me. I called him last week (30 days went by) and he said it might be worth holding out a little longer if no one is pounding down my door. The Lawyer is all paid by the way. I have 430k in unsecured (mostly business lines) 790k on my home a 1st and 2nd and 2 rental homes that I owe about 130k total which also have a 1st and 2nd but the have some income although small.

So my question is; should I just tell him to file the chp 7 and be done or is there some hope I should be holding onto with the Senate bills??

If a 7 is the endgame, go ahead and file. The Senate bill that'll be voted on in the next week or so involves allowing a judge in a Chapter 13 to modify a mortgage.

I know my unsecured was over the limit but the Lawyer thought we might do a 13? anyway and that we could hopefully bring down the high mortgage on my home. Its worth like 380k and I owe double that.
