    question on paperwork for UST

As I put together the final "report" for the UST--- when I find a discrepancy do I spell it out for them and let them know why??? For instance our income is lower than originally stated but so is our FOOD bill.... Do I give an explanation with the documentation or do I just put it all together for them and they will determine what needs to be changed etc.... THANKS FOR ANY INSIGHT!

I actually made short notes in the margins, such as "Medical co-pay total in filed petition was less than actual expense - see attached receipts". I didn't write anything lengthy, but I did provide a brief explanation for the numbers that I ended up changing on the means test.

The UST attorneys can probably figure these things out for themselves, but pointing out why you made a change saves them the time of digging. I think it also conveys an attitude of cooperation and that you want to get it right, too.

I did not provide receipts for food bills - just used the IRS standards there.
