Listing assets on Form 6 Schedule B

Ok, from what I can gather from reading online and the nolo book, you mainly list things over a certain amount or if they total to a certain amount (CD's, DVD's, video games) you list them. That part I get and is pretty simple and I can easily list those things.

In my situation, I don't have a lot of assets that are over this amount. What do you do in that situation? For people that filed or went through Chapter 7 already, I will list a couple scenarios and if you could say how you listed things, that would be helpful.

Example: Household Goods - I have a bunch of glasses and dishes from IKEA (cheap, the glasses new are $20 for all I have, same with the dishes and bowls), 8 sets of silverware (once again, nothing fancy), an electric can opener, a $30 blender and a mixer. A couple pots and pans from a Target pot/pan set and a few mixing spoons and measures. None of it near $50 on it's own in replacement value.

So how do you list something like this? And what would you call it under the description. I would assume just lumping up as one total?

Would you just lump together computer stuff like speakers, blank CD-R disks, scanners, printers? (all fall under $50 easily in my situation).

Most of my furniture, easily under the $50. How would that be listed?

Same with sporting goods, if you had a basketball, some free weights and smaller items like that.

The initial listing of stuff is probably the one part I find most annoying because it's the most vague area of the forms. I know the exceptions will be easy for me because I don't have much stuff and will be easily covered in that area. Just getting this part filled out is all I have left to do.

Here is one of my listings from schedule B for household goods. The trustee here in Colorado never said anything. I might have been able to get away with even less description.

All items valued at fair market value
    Misc furniture tables/shelves (90), couch (20), minor appliances (15), 19 inch TV (25), vacuum (10), children’s toys (30), bedroom furniture (100), two bunk beds (150), dresser(20), dresser(10), bedding(50), dvd player(10), video game system (30), microwave (20), dishes/pots/pans/silverware (30), misc electronics (50).

Joe: I thank you for this. So far, I've itemized every item in each room, even to saying old mahogany twin beds & dressers, and Craftmatic adjustable twin beds. I do believe I'm going to overhaul my Items LOL!

You should keep your itemized list, but I don't think it needs to be that detailed on your schedule B. I also kept a more detailed list in case anyone asked any questions (but nobody did). Anything that might be of unusual value you might list separately.
