    WE filed Today!!!! TY all.....

    DH & I filed for Ch7 today. I been on this forum since I believe December soaking up all the info I could. I haven't said much though Our story was so similar to a lot I have read. This site has comforted, given me strength, knowledge & so much more that I can't even put into words. Thank you all so very very much. . I will keep you all updated .

    wow what is DH and how did you get your 341 meeting so fast? I'm still filling out my paperwork and need to pay lawyer, hopefully next week I can file. The phone has been ringing off the hook.
    Retained attorney 4/21/2009 Monday
    Filed Ch 7, 4/30/2009 No Asset case, Under median.
    341 Meeting 6/9/2009 - went well.
    Discharged 8/9/2009, Closed 8/11/2009

        I see the definition of DH was given lol . As soon as your attorney files the papers you'll automatic get your 341 mtg date (at least that is how it is here in Washington)

          May 2008 Hired 1st Attorney/Stopped paying CCs
          May 21, 2009 Retained 2nd Attorney
          May 28th - Filed for Ch 7 (FINALLY!)
          9/11/09 - DISCHARGED!!!!
