furniture question

I had a sofa and a small table included in my Chapter 7... The debt was for $2000 with Rotmans and I paid it for 2 years...... I was discharged in Feb, How long do they have to try to contact me and come and get it? I will be moving soon as well.

I wouldn't worry about it. I don't know how long they can threaten to get it, but if they do, it's just a threat. They will not recoup any money by selling a 2 yr old couch. I filed in '01, and I had furniture that I had made maybe 2 payments on. The creditor sent us a letter asking when they could arrange a time to pick it up, but our lawyer recommended just ignoring them. It worked, they didn't really want the furniture.
