It's been a bit since I've had the chance to read and post.. And honestly everything is going so much better since I started my ch7 that my financial problams are not overtaking my life.. Mainly I want to thank everyone here for their support and advice...
I had my 341 way back on March 24th... It was cake!!! Heck after it was all done and off the record the Trustee asked me all sort of questions about my Harley Davidson Golf cart.. LOL
If any of you remeber I was having trouble with choosing a lawyer.. Most of the ones offering a free consult made me feel like they were running a BK assembly line.. Finally I decided to suck it up and pay 30 bucks to the cocky SOB I eventually hired.. (He ended up waving the consult fee and cut me a deal on my BK fee since I was so well prepared thanks to this forum!!)
A good lawyer is priceless, especially if you have ANY uncertainties and are trying to decide whether to file pro-se or not.. I had alot of things with my self employment that I just couldn;t be sure about...
Myself and another couple that the attorney was representing both had out 341 that same day.. He drove us to the 341 so he'd be sure we all found the right place at the right time.. And to coach us some about the proceedings.. Really helped ease my nerves...
Honestly I think it was so he could show us what we were paying for.. So many other lawyers just didn;t seem prepared.. Missing forms, clients with blank stares at questions I thought were easily answered, that kind of stuff.. (My lawyer giggled everytime that happened too..) The couple had thair 341 right before me.. No problems, all forms present, all I's dotted all T's crossed, no problems with any questions.. My 341 went the same way... Anyone in Central Pennsylvania looking for a good BK attorney, I HIGHLY reccomend Michael "Doc" Johnston of Johnston & Zagurskie..
And I highly reccomend the people that are going through this with questions READ these forums!!! Ask those questions no matter how dumb you think they are.. THe help and support (both technically and emotionally) is second to none!!!
