Buying a Repo Auto Post BK

Okay my question relates to buying a decent vehicle on cash and carry terms post bk. Are repo vehicles a safe and viable option? (I read the smell tips on old threads.)

#2 If they are an acceptable option where and how do you begin to search for local repo auctions? My dilemma is I am trying to figure out the best way to find a reliable used car reasonably priced post bk that I can pay cash I don't need anything fancy and I don't want to buy from a used car dealer with inflated prices.

I would recommend various automotive sites, and filter the 'advanced search' to include only private party offerings.

Sites include cars.com, autotrader.com, vehix.com, etc. You may also get want to try craigslist, also some people have had luck on e-bay...

Repo vehicles are usually sold at dealer auction, so I don;t think you would have much luck there. Some small banks have a section on their own site with vehicles too.

Best of luck in finding the right car.
