    Wasting NO time

I had my 341 about 3 weeks ago....
So, I am obviously not even discharged yet. But, in the mail..... I am already receiving pre-approvals for CC's.

Obviously, i trashed it....but, that is amazing how fast they move.

I haven't filed yet, but I did receive an offer in the mail on Tuesday. I mentioned this in another post, but it's amazing how much trash these credit companies send in the mail.

If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be in the mess I am in today.
    Filed (Pro Se) - 06/23/2009.
    341 meeting - 08/05/2009.
Last day for objections - 10/05/2009.
    Discharged - 10/06/2009

How long do you have to wait to get another card? Don't misunderstand - I will never get myself into this mess again, but I do want to try to start rebuilding my credit asap.

I heard somewhere here that Ford offers great terms for a car even after BK, but do you realy want to go that route, AGAIN.

Well.... apparently you don't have to wait long at all.

I heard you get offers in the mail right away after discharge..... but, i was surprised to get them before hand

I literally received car loan offers 3 days after filing. These loan companies check public records for people that file.

This practice should be illegal. But that is how they make there money. They know that some people will fall once they file / discharged and they know there isn't a damn thing they can do if they get themselves in debt again.
