In my CH7 statement of intention I stated I planned on redeeming my vehicle and in my Schedule D I put down a fairly low amount of what I thought the vehicle was worth.
3 weeks ago I sent the bank an offer for even a lower amount than I claimed it was worth and have not heard a thing back from them.
During the 341 last week the Trustee did not even mention the vehicle or the amount.
So my questions are this:
Since the Trustee did not mention or challenge the amount I claimed it was worth, does the bank have to accept that amount or can they still challenge it?
What happens if I never hear from the bank at all, can they attempt to repossess it after I am discharged? In other words, can they simply refuse to negotiate?
