hello - i am returning frm overseas to start a new job june 1, but i have 25k in cc debt about to be charged off...should i file right away, or wait and see what the creditors do. they all know i live overseas, so i wonder how long before they realize i am back in the states.
also, i have a bit of debt over here that i need to pay off first, so most of my income will be sent back over to europe. how do i claim that in a ch. 7? overseas debt? if i don't pay the debt here, eventually i will go to prison - they don't even allow bankruptcy here.
i have no assets except some furniture in storage in seattle. any suggestions on my best course of action? ty.
