Getting the phone calls and........

Starting to get all the phone calls.

So far they all seem to be non threatening. I basically tell them i am filing chapter 7 and give them the attorneys name and number and let them know i will files in 2-3 months and theyseem ok with it, take the information and thank me. I in return thank them and wish them a good day.

So, so far it seems pretty painless.

I think once you have retained an attorney, given them your attorney's contact info, and stated such to the creditor, only their attorney can your attorney regarding your case.

I think I've read that somewhere, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I heard once from someone on here that if the companies know you are filing in several months, they can expedite a lawsuit against you, just to cause you extra grief. Don't know if that's true or not....
