Well, I had my 341 yesterday. It went rather quickly, and mine was not in a courtroom. Each debtor when into a small conference room with their lawyer and the trustee. Typically, the door was shut, and you couldn't really hear all that much... Anyway, I had filed with the presumption of abuse arising, as I had a bonus this year that I am unlikely to get in future years due to the economy. The trustee didn't ask anything about my being over median and filing with the presumption of abuse (my lawyer had been in contact with the US trustee long ago already about it); however, he did ask about my '97 Jeep that I exempted. I have another car that I lease for commuting purposes; my Jeep is a beater that gets me around in bad weather, not practical or economical for commuting. That being said, I had to explain what a "beater" car was to the trustee, as he never heard the term before (the three of us laughed about it). He said Good Luck, and I left. I'm assuming it's all good, but I'm still nervous. How long would it be until I know if the trustee or US trustee is going to look into my case further?
