When to dispute?

I am officially in the 60 day club!!

I checked my CRs for all three and there are some accounts that are reported as charge offs with balances, collection accounts etc. I was wondering when I should begin disputing. I also read on here somewhere that if you are lucky enough and dispute anything that is wrong with your bk (date etc) then the bk might be deleted. But when should I begin disputing before or after discharge?

After discharge. Nothing is official regarding the status of those debts until you receive your disharge.

As for the BK itself, it is true that if something is wrong with the report, than it is inaccurate and must be removed. But that doesn't mean they simply can't correct the data and repost it on your CR.

I will have to dispute the bk because date and file location are wrong on my CRs. I will be lucky if they were to delete it.

Note, the catch 22 on disputing the BK is this...let's say you dispute the BK, but it comes back verified. The only way you can take it further is to submit YOUR BK documents which will show that you did file BK. That will simply result in the correct BK info being reported on your CR.
