We are in the same boat...most of our debt is from years ago. I tracked down what I could. Our lawyer basically said the same thing, as along as it happened before we filed.
I thought I read somewhere in a post that the law does say something that they expect you can't remember all your debt, yet it will still be included. I don't know they exact wording....I'm sure someone will chime in here......
