    Me = dumb butt

    Uggg, I'm so frustrated at myself... just wanted to vent a little. I paid my lawyer 2900 in full when I met with him but I had to do it in 2 checks cause I had the money in two different accounts. I have a total of 3 accounts with the same bank however and idiot me wrote one of the checks from an account I had 5 dollars in. I'm so mad at myself... >< I got my bank to refund me the overdraft fees and such but now I dunno what my lawyer is gonna think of me when I bounced a check on him. Hopefully he will cut me some slack as the retainer fee check I cut him went through fine but the second one I wrote for 1500 will come back to him... ><

    I sent him an email asking him if he would prefer me to give him cash for the difference now... I also noticed his bank is the same as mine so I offered to go deposit the money in his account directly....

    Grrrr.... just needed to get that off my chest.

    LOL!!! Let us know how he responds It was an honest mistake and at least you are trying to get the cash in his hand....

      Hehe... they let me call and give them my debit card and take it out directly. And my bank was nice enough to refund my NSF fee and stuff...crisis adverted...but I still feel like a dumbass.

              Hehe... yea you are probably right. It is just really hard for me to go from always paying my bills responsibly to just not being able to and not paying them. So, I freaked out a little bit when I wrote a bad check inadvertently.

              Yes, God does work in mysterious ways... when I was out of the country and lost my job it was so miserable and scary...but now I look back on it and maybe it was a blessing in disguise because if it hadn't of happened the way it did I wouldn't be able to be "getting a fresh start" now.
