I would love to hear how the southern district (WPB) is doing. Are they running slow too?

BTW- Ya'll forgot to mention the armadillos. I nearly killed myself tonight trying to miss one on the road. They have got to be one of the most stupid animals.

Don't know which is worse - the hurricanes in FL or the tornadoes in AR. Have a good friend who lives in Ft. Lauderdale. She told me at least FL gets notice of hurricanes. In AR, we may get 20 minutes notice a tornado is headed or way.

Hurricanes are usually not that bad, 2004 was the worst season I can remember. We do get plenty of notice to load up on Pop Tarts, beer, and peanut butter.

That blows my mind, that you have to wait that long. It sounds like the process has all but stopped in the middle district. I wonder if South district is just as bad off

    The Ch. 7 filings this year (Jan-April) are 2,582, 2,938, 4,157, 4,017.

    That's about a 50% increase in Mar.-Apr. over Jan.-Feb.

Pretty remarkable. May filing statistics ought to be on their website Monday or Tuesday.

Let me guess, you're from new york right? I've heard new york is full of the nicest people, that might be true because every new yorker that moved to florida is an *******. The nice ones must have stayed.
Born and raised in Florida, family on my mom's side has been here 60+ yrs 35 yrs for my old man. Every dollar I've ever paid for eduction has gone to this state. The main point of my post was the court system. I should be ticked about the whinner comment, but I kinda agree with the rest of your post.

I'm from south new jersey, about an hour from philly. been here 27 years, you get used to avoiding ant bites, the big spiders aren't a problem go look under your lawn furniture I bet you find a black widow, thats what you need to worry about.
You never get used to the ny'er though, and unfortunatley they don't hide under the furniture.

lived there for 3 years, the best thing about florida is they give anyone a gun permit. but they have some of the stupidist criminals in the world there so you really need one. the cops there have absolutely no hesitation in shooting suspects, so it saves a lot of court costs.and the prisons are less crowded. i see the cops are doing the same thing now in Inglewood california.i think they are just trying to help the deficit here by keeping prison population down. but for a bk there, they arent very debtor friendly, only 1k exemption for car, not much for wild card. outside miami it is a conservative state.
