No. Your credit report isn't a legal document and is reporting incorrectly. You should dispute this on your credit report so it reports accurately and you can begin rebuilding your credit with your student loan payments.Originally posted by nicole38 View PostI was discharged last month and my student loan on my credit report is being reported as discharged in bankruptcy. Its not a government student loan.It was based off of my credit..Is it possible this was actually discharged?
To discharge student loans you have to file an Adversary Proceeding and to win the AP you have to be disabled and unable to work. Student loans are almost impossible to discharge.

student loans will always show "discharged" on your credit report, unless you dispute that. Unless you filed an AP and WON- student loans are not dischargeable.Originally posted by nicole38 View PostOh ok I thought that since it was a private loan through a bank that it could be dischargedFiled Pro Se: 10/16/2009
