what about Auto BK friendly ...

I am really torn about the redeeming with a 722 for current value or just letting it go and going with something else
BUT
what if i let the current car go and they pick it up fast so now i wont have anything for a down saved up AND when i go to the lots they say ohhh i don't think so you are post BK

Have you filed BK yet? I know for us we filed with the intention of letting dh's truck go back. The loan company finally called us last week almost 6 weeks after filing to discuss when to pick it up.

I told them we are still unsure and they told me just to call them back before this Friday. Ask your lawyer what he thinks. Some loan companies probably try to repo faster than others but ours seems to be okay with whatever I tell them- for the moment at least.
