Receiving Gifts

I am brand new here, and have been reading all of the super helpful posts! I have one question that I wasn't able to find anywhere. We are on the verge of filing for Chapter 7, probably within a week according to the attorney. My son's grandmother called today and wants to buy him a swingset for our backyard, (a rather large pricey one), how long do you think we would need to wait in order for her to buy this, and not have to worry about the trustee wanting to take it? It's a gift for my three children, not us obviously, but I understand it becomes our personal property, do we need to wait until after discharge?

At the least you'd need to wait until after you have filed, probably after the 341 would be better.
