DM, something about your posts sounds very very fishy. sounds like you are up to something, filing bk and talking so confidently about a new car and spending $10,000 right before filing. if we are getting suspicious, i would be very surprised if your trustee won't feel the same way. maybe you should rethink this bk filing.

It's not $10k before filing. I am thinking 6 to 8 months down the road. Once we file, I am going to hoard money like a mad man. We will have no bills other than utilities, car insurance, Internet and food. No more car payments, mortgage, home owner's insurance, property taxes and a SLEW of minimum payments on a ton of credit cards and loans. All that money I was spending, I will now be stock-piling to either pay cash for a car or put a HUGE amount down on a very nice car with very low, affordable payments.
