I don't want to sound like a broken record, but it was so smooth! Met with attorney and he explained everything to me. Trustee was nice. She asked me the standard questions and I was done in one minute. Glad to be a part of the 60-day club! Feeling much better than I was a few months ago.

I would describe it as a positive experience, once I got up there and sat down I felt a positive rush of adrenaline and actually felt quite happy to answer the questions. It had been such a long arduous road to get to that point, I think that I worried myself over the past 6 months into a state of calm. To anyone dreading it, please don't! I was able to listen to about a dozen cases before mine and this was helpful because I quickly got into the groove of the Trustees role and style of questioning. So I recommend getting there on the early side and listen very carefully, as you will be able to almost rehearse with yourself how you will respond to the questioning. The bottom line is if you honestly answered all the petition questions in full honesty and disclosure when you filed ...there just is absolutely nothing to worry about.

not to dampen you spirits, but I also am in the central district of Ca, riverside and I am on day 120 something. Filed 1-22-09, court hearing 2-24-09. Big backlog, still awaiting discharge

There was another poster here that is in the same district, she kept waiting for her discharge (over 100 days later) and she finally went down to the Riverside court house and talked to the clerk, it was an error and they discharged her that day! I would call/go down there and see what's up

Really?! I am also in Riverside and on day 50. I hope you get discharged soon if not you should probably call them and let them know. Did you file your post 341 debtor education certificate?
