    Forgotten Creditors

When I filed for BK, I listed all creditors I could find. I read in a post here something to the effect of "your not expected to remember every debt you've had". Is there any provison in the law to cover a forrgotten creditor?

I don't think so, but check with other posters. Our attorney told us that if we forgot to list a debtor we just wouldn't be able to discharge that debt. As far as I know, you can't amend to include that debt later.

The best way to find out a list of creditors is to start with a credit report. Also, go through old check registers, old bills, etc. If you don't list them they don't get discharged, that simple. You can amend the petition, I know up to at least the 341. I can see you forgetting the old gas bill from 1990, but not more than a couple at the most.
Starchild 1066 are you filing pro se? If you are and are asking alot of these questions, you need to go back over your petiton with a fine tooth comb, get documentation. Pull that credit report! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll be watching, you may never know when or how, but I'll be there. I am there now....
