In my district they had a notice at the court that they would be down for some system maintenence and to implement some changes due to the new law(?)

Thanks.... maybe I will call the court..... there may be something on their recorded message stating if the system is down for maintenance or whatever.

I e-mailed PACER, and here is their response:

Many BK sites are still down today due to the new bankruptcy legislation. Unfortunately we do not have a time estimation regarding when each site will be back up as they will vary for each court. You should try back periodically today. You may also want to check the courts' home pages as they may post specific information there. For example, the following is posted at www.nysb.uscourts.gov:

NOTICE: The Court's ECF/PACER System will be unavailable until further notice while a backlog of cases is being processed.

            Thank you,
            PACER Service Center

West Michigan was down because they moved their offices! They also took down their servers and all that went with it for a while.

                  Hope that helps.

I know this because I use their site every day, and I called them.

They are 10 to 11 days behind in NM. They are just now starting to update the cases with the onslaught of filings last week.

I haven't checked in GA-I'm resolving to leave Pacer alone for a while!
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.
