    In Between Time...

My BK was filed on 10/13...a chapter 7. I asked my lawyer's aide re: my wife getting paid on Fri. the 15th and should we pay our bills w/ money orderrs, or was it ok to depowit the money and pay from the checking acct. She said that as long as were honest as to the date on which we filed, that from there on we "got our fresh start" and could use our checking accounts and that since we didn't owe any money to either my wife's bank or mine that we could go ahead and use our checking accts. and they wouldn't be seized and that we could pay our bills like normal.
Now what are the rest of the rules?
I've read where we can't incur indebtedness until we are discharged.
What can we NOT DO until the 341 meeting. What can we not do during the time between our 341 and discharge?
Thanks for any info. don't want to get into any trouble now, Art

Don't use credit. That's really all I can think of, other than try to have patience!
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

Besides not using or applyingfor credit. No major purchases> Don't go buy a car with the trustees permission. Time will pass quicker than you think.
I'll be watching, you may never know when or how, but I'll be there. I am there now....
