...what is the deadline for me to mail letters to my creditors? I am handling my own case.

Is there anywhere on the internet where I can find an example of the type of letter I should write?

Do I write a letter to every creditor?

I believe the court will contact your creditors. That's what the mailing matrix is for.

They must be really fast because I filed on 10/14 and one of my creditcards closed the account (shutting off my online access) by 10/17!

It is very quick! My case was filed last week and I got a copy of my letter yesterday. It shows that come creditors (citi, discover, and some others) are actually contacted electronically..... probably the case with the one you are talking about newday.

It does not surprise me at all, that a predatory lending institution such as citi would be right on top of things to cut off the money they offer knowing they may not get it back.
