All Systems are not Go

I filed last thursday, 10-13 I believe. I didn't get in until 3pm, then waited until after they closed their doors, about 4:15. They said because it was after closing they couldn't provide an official receipt, but I did see them stamp the filing with the date 10-13-05. They said they probably wouldn't be able to file it until next week, which is now. I've been calling the automated court info system thing and its been down since monday, which I suppose is similar to the pacer problems that have been discussed on here. So its been almost a week and I still have no idea if they've even looked at my filing or accepted it, and if so, when the 341 would be or anything. Its making me really nervous. Does anyone have any input or having a similar problem?

Wouldn't it still have been filed on Friday? I would think it would still be prior to the new law.... especially if they date stamped it!

I have no idea, thats all they told me. They said it may not be entered until next week but would accepted as if it was the day it was stamped. Thats whats driving me nuts right now, is not knowing for sure either way.

Don't panic, more than likely the date you filed and they stamped it is your filing date......

Keep checking Pacer till you know for sure....

The official court date stamp rules! You are fine! My case didn't show up for close to a week in the system.

Wow, well that definately helps, thanks. I will try to take a chill pill for now and not freak out again unless it is not filed by next monday.

Hang in there-if you saw them stamp it you should be fine! They're probably just overloaded with catchup work!

It took a week for mine to show up on pacer...

I finally got my pacer acct. And it states when things are FILED and when they are ENTERED. Which aren't the same dates. I'm sure if they stamped it , it will show you filed on 10/13.
