did wells fargo give you a hard time ??

I was wondering if wells fargo gave anyone a hard time with there bankruptcy ? did they keep you from getting discharged ? I'm worried

Nope not an ounce of issue. DH had a signature loan with them and went just fine.

I had a mortgage with them. They are all bark and no bite. The collection calls were relentless, but not a peep in the BK. BTW, I still can't get them to actually finish the foreclosure on the house I surrendered to them! Its been since May 2008 of the default and Sept 30, 2008 my BK Ch 7.

TFH, just read your post. Yes, WF was the first to sue - then I filed BK. There were no issues in the BK with Wells.

Had a WF CC. Out of 9 others that just went to collections WF sued me.
Thats what made me finally go with a bk.

Sued you ?? What happened if i may ask ? I have one CC with them along with my home loan.. I have surrender my home, I' even moved out before i got my foreclosure papers, just to have some kind of peace of mind..

I have two things with them, a credit card and a signature loan for a playground I bought and they are both only about 10 days late so far. They call no less than three or four times a day including the weekends. They called at 8AM Sunday morning.

oh i know.. they do call alot.. I can almost set my watch by them, knowing they will call right at 8:00 am .. Just hoping they don't give me a hard time with me Bk'ing the house

2 cc's with them just over 90 days past due. they call relentlessly. just got a letter stating if no pay by 7/25 they are sending account to attourney for lawsuit. out of all my cc's they have sent the harshest letters. hope i can hold them off until I file in january.

A guy knocked on the door and issued me a summons. Lawsuit from WF.
I paid someone $500 to answer it, he sent a settlement offer for $2500. I had a bk consultation, I learned that the $2500 would have been the dumbest move to make when I can do a whole bk for $1300.

So thats where it sits. Summons answered. It'll be wiped out with the bk.

That was $500 wasted, I could have taken it to a bk attorney and retained him and taken care of it that way.

I'm not used to the legal system, I never been sued, been to court, nothing.

Thank you tin for sharing, I know how you feel, I have never been in any trouble with the law or ever been sued.. speeding tickets don't count .. but seriously I'm very worried that WF will try to sue me , or garrish my husband wages, what ever the case may be.. they are just ruthless, one time, they called us and just so happen my husband answered the phone, here's what a WF caller said.. you owe us X amount of money, i see you still have a job, why can't you pay us and what do you do with your money ?? needless to say he hung up after telling her I don't feel like i need to answer that question. None of your business what i do with my money ! ok ok, had to vent there.. I just wish that this was all over with.. and i could do my hamster dance ~

Speaking of venting. Remember the two hurricanes we had back in 2005? (was it 2005?)
The first one put my job on hold, I missed ONE capital one cc payment.
After the second hurricane passed through I'm sitting in the house, no electric, food going to waste in the fridge, had an old corded phone hooked up and it rang.

Capital one wanted their money.

I said look you ******g ****h, have you seen the ******g news lately? We just got hit by two ******g hurricanes, THE MAIL ISN'T EVEN COMING!!!!! I'M WAITING FOR MY ELECTRICITY TO GET TURNED BACK ON!!!!!!!

it was 2004, i remember it all to well.. winds hit my back yard at about 120 mph Charlie,, I was out of power for about a week and a half.. I left for the next two, even tho charlie was the worst one of all.. I had the same issue with my mortage lender, they couldn't understand why i couldn't pay.. this is what the lady told me" I"m sure it's not as bad as it seems to be" weather wise !! Yes lady, no one is going to work, unless you work for the power company.. it is that bad !

Ummm, I remember a cc company calling me too. We were ground zero for the first hurricane and the eye missed us by I think, five or ten miles with Jeanne. The corded phone was still working for a few days after Frances, until the generator at the phone box died . They called me because I was two days late. I wasn't having financial difficulty then, it was just an oversight as we were preparing for the hurricane. They wanted to know when we would mail the payment. I told them as soon as the national guard allows us to leave our neighborhood, I would jump in my canoe, paddle to the post office and wait until they allowed people from outside our city to return and then I would jump on the first postal employee I could see and be sure that they would deliver to their desk pronto. OMG- I couldn't believe them. They totally didn't understand how we were living. No mail for five days if your mailbox was still standing or not underwater, if it was it was almost 2 weeks, no phone after 30 hours after the storm passed and then it came back 3 weeks later. Cell phones we useless. Electricity was out for 3 weeks. Humidity was worse than I ever remember, MRE's were our only "hot" food for almost a week. We were busy learning how to fix chains on chainsaws, paddling canoes across six blocks so we could walk a couple of miles to the gas station where we would stand for over an hour to get 5 gallons a gas for the generator that was running a light, small fan and sewer pump so we could use the bathroom and they wanted to know when we would be getting payment to them. Yea, we hit a nerve with hurricanes and credit cards. Sorry.

doing poorly.. thanks for the laugh And just think, it's that time of year again ..... hurricane season..... I only pray we don't ever see anything like we did that year, don't think my nerves can handle it at this point
