    75 days no discharge!!

    Hello to all!

Thank you to all for your informative posts. This forum has helped us get through the whole BK process. Everything has been smooth up to this point. I was just curious, if anyone thought that one of the reasons that we have not been discharged yet is because of a hearing requested by BOA/CW for relief of stay? We are in Vegas, so we know that it will take a little longer for a discharge, due to high volume something like 5000 new BK cases per month.

should the hearing for relief of stay hold up the discharge?

    Thanks in advance!

Every time a motion is made, there is a 20 or 30 day delay. Ours was not discharged for six months. Are you an asset case? This too adds 30 days. Also, the Courts are getting busy. 'Hub
If I knew it all, would I be here?? Hang in there = Retained attorney 8-06, Filed 12-28-07, Discharge 8-13-08, Finally CLOSED 11-3-09, 3-31-10 AP Dismissed, Informed by incompetent lawyer of CLOSED status, October 14, 2010.
