    Had 341 Meeting!!!

Yesterday we had our 341 meeting. And needless to say...I worried over nothing!! It took all of about 3 minutes! HOLY COW!!

We were the last ones before lunch time...and all the trustee asked us was for us to state our name, address, if that was our signature on the petition, we're we told about reaffirmation, did we list all of our creditors, would we like to add, delete or change anything, if we had any questions, and then he said (I vaguely remember...I was so scared! ) something about blah, blah, blah, no asset, blah , blah, blah, recommend discharge. Blah, Blah, will be filed downstairs.

So I heard the good stuff....No Asset...and Recommend Discharge! WHOOO HOOOOO!!!! He didn't ask for anything...no pay stubs, no tax returns, no bank statements. NOTHING! I had all my stuff with me just in case....but he just went through them all like a recording. Saying the same stuff to everyone. At one time he began Just mumbling away and not awaiting the answer of the person. He stopped and chuckled and said sorry....once you've done so many...you get into a zone.

So now...I just wait patiently for 60 days for the official paperwork.

I did have one creditor show up...but they just wanted to give me the reaffirmation agreement for our furniture.

FINALLY!!! I thought this day would never come!

FLGirl - How are you doing????? Have you been able to get any real answers to the tax question? It is probably a good thing (tit for tat) that I didn't know about this site until about a month before I filed, we tried everything for about 3 years and then bit the bullet, & I was sloooooooow at that, it wasn't until just before the new bill passed the house that I got serious about it, but anyway, what I wanted to say was I hope that you have gotten some good news. Like I said earlier we got out tax money right before filing and it was over 6,000. Trust me we had more in the bank than my check register shows, because I mail all my bills off around 10-15 and most of them had not cleared. Our attorney asked for both balances, I went to the bank and a got that figure and gave her the other. The trustee dod ask, wasn't prepared, thought for a second and rattled off where I had spent most of, insurance, property taxes, heating gas, catching up some other bills, plus we still had storm damage we hadn't yet fixed.
Wish you had a little more time so that you didn't have to get in under the wire, sure you are still tripping out. GOod luck.
I'll be watching, you may never know when or how, but I'll be there. I am there now....
