How soon can you get discharged AND closed?

Does it ever happen soon after the 341 meeting?

Even though my last day for objections to discharge is 60 days after my 341 date, is there a chance it can be discharged and closed earlier?

What exactly goes on in those 60 days?

I ask because my lawyer called today and needed more info, apparently he's been working on my case with the trustee already and my case, to me, seems fairly simple.

I *think* that legally there has to be a 60 day period for creditors to object prior to a discharge....so the short answer is no, you will not be discharged before 60 days.
Retained 3/09 * Filed 6/2/09 *341 Meeting 7/23/09 *Report of No Distribution Filed 7/24/09 *Closed and Discharged 10/13/09*

teacher is right, discharge cannot happen before 60 days passed (though there was a poster here who got the discharge on day 52 or something - but it was not supposed to happen!!)
