    Now What??

Ok...here's my question, now that things will start happening, if they haven't already, with my credit reports.

What's the easiest and cheapest way to do this? Do I keep paying for the credit reports? Do I sign up with a service? With who...and how?

    Any suggestions?

Your question isn't quite clear, but I'll take a guess.

Do you want to routinely check your credit reports and dispute incorrect information?

If so, I believe all states now offer one free report per year from each of the three credit reporting agencies.

I would suggest checking your credit reports 2-4 times per year. I would not recommend subscribing to a credit report monitoring service. The benefit is minimal given the cost per month.

You filed bankruptcy. Your credit will not improve significantly by bombarding the agencies with monthly disputes.

Wait "at least" a couple months to even request the "free" credit reports. Some creditors are slower than others in updating. You can find sample letters on this website, but again, this all takes time. Save yourself the headache and stress and wait awhile. Remember patience and budgets are the 2 words and definitions that we have learned the hard way.
I'll be watching, you may never know when or how, but I'll be there. I am there now....
