Weird Note In PACER

While looking over my PACER data under my BK status I found this at the end of the status:

Wherefore, the trustee prays that this report be approved and the trustee be discharged from office... [Trustee Name Removed]

Is that normal? Anyone else see anything like that?

Different districts/states, use different langauge. It is the court asking to ber removed from the case, that he has completed his work. While not working in the federal system, in the state system it would be like a public defender requesting payment for services rendered, he would have to finish the case or be removed in order to submit a fee app. Hope this answers your question.

Guess I should add that I "pray" that my discharge comes fast and flawless

Good luck Sleepless.... sounds like this maybe a common statement used at the close of your case (or Trustee's portion)..... hopefully someone else from that district can confirm for you!!

It is official notification to the court that the Trustee is thru with you case and wishes to be dimissed from the case and your discharge granted.

Basically, means it's almost over.............
