credit card payments

hi,hope you could help me with this,well my parents are filing at the end of this month my question is;my mom used a credit card to make a purchase of 122$ like a week ago would that effect her in anyway does she still have to make this months payment as a sign of good-faith because at that time she didint know she will be filing it was more my dads decision.
