We had our 341 yesterday. Smooth sailing. Took longer to find a parking spot than to answer the questions (about 5 minutes). Other than the stating your name, etc part, all the questions were yes or no answers. the only thing we had to provide 'extra' was the VIN # on the vehicle we were surrendering (not sure why he couldn't get it from the paperwork) but DH had his insurance card, gave him that and he said "thank you and good luck"

Relax, take a deep breath and just think in a few days you'll be in the 60 day club!

LOL do you know that they actually charged us to park in the building where we were having the 341's? The only other place to park for free was like 10 streets away on the side of the road. They make people filing for bankruptcy pay to park... 8 bucks!! Terrible! I want the parking fee included in my bk... lol.

We paid for parking too! Also, as the OP stated the parking in Santa Ana is quite a hike. $9.00 to park, but we were there for a few hours observing and then we met with our attorney afterwards and signed the reaffirmation on my car.

And too funny about the pay parking thing Since our court house is in our city (and I know the area well) I'm thinking we'll be able to find free on street parking... otherwise will have to pay to park in a parking garage

Thanks guys for all the calming help you're giving me. Dh has called me 3x's from work already to ask how my nerves are holding up Wish I were more like him (he's not a constant worrier like me ). Well I just keep telling myself that this time tomorrow it will be over and I'll still be alive to tell about it (I hope! HAHA!

My 341 is on Sept 4 at 2:30.Attorney says it just like traffic court,you'll be in and out due to so many people filing.

Hi this is my first post and I have filed for BK today, but wanted to read the posts related to the 341 meetings. I am curious though did any of the creditors show up at your 341 meetings or just the trustee, you and the BK attorney? I am glad to read posts that mentioned the 341 meetings went well. I have heard mixed stories though about them.

My 341 is sept 2. I am hoping it goes smoothly and routinely. I have been unemployed for seven months so hopefully that will make it clear to the trustee why I am filing.

I see your 341 went well!!! Congratulations. Any advice or thoughts for the rest of us? I'm busy compiling bank statements, etc. UGH. Cannot wait to be done with this (but I felt the most relief when we actually filed. I have nothing to hide)
