    It seems like society (myself included) has really blurred the line between want and need. My wife was mortified at the suggestion of giving up our minivan in the BK (I will miss it - it's like driving a couch), but the bottom line is we don't need it. If we decide after a while that we really WANT one, we'll buy one used at an affordable price.
    Exactly. That Dodge Omni could take you anywhere you needed to go. People don't seem to grasp this concept.

      Let the car go!
      You can get something with the monies you are not paying now can't you?
      And if you reaffirm it how are you going to come up with $3K in December?
      You will be stuck with that bill or a repo.
