    Trying to remain calm

Hi! Trying to be cool here, but starting to chew on my fingernails a little. I filed in SC 7/18, had my 341 8/19, and Pacer said last date for objections was 10/18. Well I've not heard anything, so I'm assuming no objections......yay!! But on that same token, I've not heard anything about the discharge either. Pacer says it's still open and 99 days. Now I know and am sure the courts are completely backed up because of the multitude of filings prior to 10/17, but still......augggghhhh!!! I'm just writing cuz I need some reassurance and some support to quit stressing. I've made it this far with my fingernails intact, but the last few days have been he** on them. Thx

Hang on, takes a bit of time from what's been posted, for PACER to catch up. After all, it's the 25th and you would (Possibly) have heard bad news by now...Yours was a "No Asset" case, right?

Yes, mine is a "No Asset" and I know no news is good news, but I sure would like to hear the discharged news soon. I read where others heard within 2 days. I guess it was wishful thinking on my part. lol....knowing my luck, I should expect to wait another month to hear.

It took about 3 weeks to show on mine in August. So be patient a little while longer.
I'll be watching, you may never know when or how, but I'll be there. I am there now....

Since you're a no asset case & the creditors are too late to object (and probably didn't have anything to object over anyhow) you're 99% done. The courts are backed up, the clerks probably have the discharge notices on the bottom of their list of priorities. Hopefully, in the next few days the last of the amendments, etc. for the last batch of emergency petitions will be out of the way and the courts can get back to normal.

I hope your limbo is over very soon!
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

Another week has passed and still no news. Pacer still says case filed and open. Trying to keep busy and not check Pacer more than once a day, okay maybe twice, but no more than that.....lol.

call the trustee's office and politely let them know that the date for objections is over and ask if the case is closed yet? sometimes they enter it into the computer that day for you. if you are nice.
Im not an attorney or a trustee. You cant trust me either though!

Call the courts, what can they do now? Besides they can only tell you one of two things right.
Trust me, everything is fine, you would have heard by now if not......

What does it say under "status?"
                          Mine says "Awaiting Discharge"

It has 'case open' under 'status'. Should I call the court house or the trustee's office? I didn't get to do anything today cuz of trick-or-treating and Halloween festivities.
