? About reaffirming on my mortage

Bank gave me a offer to reduce my interest by half and save me 375 dollars a month. I did file chapter 7 moved out. Lawyer did tell me the day of my meeting with the trustee that the loan that the house was threw called and made a offer. Since we had to just decided to file she never told me they called. She said i could call and ask about,which i did and still excepted me the offer. All i have to do is sign the papers and fax back. My other question is we had a mechanics lien against it,but also filed on them as well. Is this going to be a problem? Thanks

Apex, you must review those papers with your lawyer. If this is not done right, you may just get your bk messed up. Have you been discharged yet? Are they asking you to reaffirm? Be very careful here. 'Hub

Yes,the papers where sent before my meeting to my lawyer,but never got with me about the matter. She said she will not represent me on this matter since my meeting is done,but they are the papers that were sent to her. Her secratery said just to fill it out like it says they are made very simple to fill out. They are giving a a 5.28 which was 9.75 percent before.
