There were 3 couples who were scheduled to go at 3:00. We were the last of the 3 to go. Our attorney and the trustee visited for 15 minutes before the cases were called. Our attorney is also a trustee and you could tell the two had worked together quite a bit.
We were asked the standard questions. The trustee did ask us about a trust that my wife is co-owner of. The trust was set up over 3 years ago and is set up to care for my wife's disabled mother. The trustee asked who set it up and when we told him the name of our family attorney the trustee said, I know him, he's a good attorney. We pushed the trustee a little as to his feelings about the trust. He told us that he thought it would be okay. He's going to take a look at it because it hadn't been provided to him yet.
We only spent 5 minutes or so with the trustee.
Our attorney said you're all done, everything should be all finished in 60-70 days.
