Just what the title says, I wanted to thank everyone for taking the time to answer my questions.

My wife and I just recently got discharged on August 11th. It went a lot smoother than I thought, we ended up giving up the house. I really thought it would be extremely hard to get a lease with a recent BK on our file, but we were upfront and honest, and able to get a great place while we rebuild. A lot easier than I thought it would be.

Again, just wanted to say thanks because without all the people who contribute here on a daily basis we wouldn't have gotten through it properly. Thanks from the bottom of my heart!

We had to give up our home and land too, so we know how you feel.

Thanks all, It is a HUGE burden off our backs, and now we can carry on with our lives.

Going back to the rental, yeah wasn't bad at all. We wrote a letter to the owner and explained our situation once we found a place we liked. And they appreciated the honesty up front.

Congratulations! I ended up giving up my house too. I felt very badly about it but at the same time it's great not to have all that worry, and to be debt-free. This board has helped me a lot.
