Discharged & Closed as of yesterday!
August 3rd was the end of my 60 days. I called the Clerk of Courts yesterday to ask for the status of my case. The case manager had me on hold for about 5 minutes and comes back on and says everything that is needed to be discharged has been filed and that she would Discharge & Close the case right away. She said I will get the paper work by next week.
So, this morning I call VCIS and instead of the standard Case awaiting closing I get case discharged as of yesterday and also case closed!!!
Happy dance for me please!!!
I am looking forward to moving on and getting our family back on track.
Thank you to all who gave me the great advice on this board. I would never have thought to call to get a update on my case if I had not read that others had done so. My husband works with a guy who has been waiting 4 months to get his case discharged and his was a simple straight forward case like ours was.
