I think I am discharged! Yahoo!! (What's next??)

Just checked Pacer to see if anything was new and it says:

    Terminated: 08/25/2009
    Debtor discharged: 08/25/2009

    Debtor disposition: Standard Discharge

Pending status: 341 Meeting Scheduled ,Case Closed
    Flags: MEANSNO, CLOSED

So, Standard Discharge and my case is closed -- that is an official discharge right?

    Under my History it says:

Filed & Entered: 08/25/2009 Final Decree
Filed & Entered: 08/25/2009 Close Bankruptcy Case
Filed & Entered: 08/25/2009 Order Discharging Debtor

Now that I can celebrate (and put this whole damn thing behind me and get on with my life without tippy toeing around) what is next?

Is there anything I need to be careful with even after my discharge? Or am I home free?

I heard that if someone dies and leaves me money even after my discharge that the courts can take it? Is that true? Anything else I have I worry about?

Did notice that when I went to get an online quote for auto insurance Geico a few days after I did it they emailed me a thingy that said I was quoted a higher rate because of "unsatisfactory" credit. Ha! Well, I didn't buy any car insurance from them but that was the first time I have seen that so far. I haven't gotten any credit card offers like others are saying they are (not that I want any anyhow - I am getting used to life with no cards.).

I have been very grateful for this forum - thanks to all for support and answering my questions and listening to me vent and b*tch. This whole thing is such an odd life experience - it was very helpful not to go through it alone and have people to share with.

                Congratulations!!

So far the only problem we've had post discharge is we tried to change electric companies to get a lower rate. They wanted a $500 deposit. We've never, ever had to pay deposits on utilities.

Congratulations!!!!! My understanding is that an inheritance, life insurance benefits, or money in a divorce settlement can be at risk 180 days from date of filing of a BK. I don't know about lottery winnings....LOL LOL. Everything else should be all yours and tell your billionaire uncle to stay healthy until that 180 days is up! :-)
