Think of "beer as volume" and "liquor as concentrate". More bang for the buck with liquor and in faster times!

Getting off track here. Thread will be closed for us talking about alcohol on a BK forum... even though this is where we are supposed to vent and ask questions.

122 posts about amsoil on this forum, all originated by or in response to debtmonster.

Kind of seems like spam, to me.

    Carry on.

Did this place get renamed the "Amsoil Forum"? It seems that almost every thread over 3 pages, no matter how it starts, ends up being about amsoil.

Maybe I should work on making every thread about schwinn bikes. We can all live debt free riding schwinns! Oh wait - that's what bike forums are for...

    Now I need a drink. :P

Cool, well maybe I'll try it then. The Charger is a 5.7 HEMI so I'd need 7 quarts for that bad boy. I'm sorry, even though I'm BK I swear to god I'll live out of that car if I have to. I can't give it up. Pathetic huh?

No problem with the pills. I've been on those for years. I like to say my ex drove me to them. BK drove me to drink. My new wife and I get along famously though (especially since filing). I'm not the most religious person in the world, but it's the closest thing to "born again"!!!!

Royal Purple is only good for racing cars and people who rebuild their engines on a regular basis. I would not recommend it for a daily driver car to go back and forth to work.

I used to swear by Mobil 1 before I used Amsoil. Good luck finding any ASTM tests that prove that Mobil 1 beats Amsoil... they don't exist.

One of my dad's mechanics told me about how Mobil 1 was lowering the quality of their oils way back in the 1990's after one of his friends did some testing on an oil viscosity machine. I was not happy, but what could I do? I knew nothing about oil back then, so I just stuck with Mobil for years until I could find something better.

I have to take depression pills to deal with the BK and to help me stop fighting with my wife.

Sold. I'm willing to give it a try on the Chevy at least. I'm also on Charger Forums and most of the Dodge nuts there swear by the Mobil 1 synthetic, or Royal Purple. The Royal Purple is really expensive though. How do you buy AMSoil locally? I don't want to pay for shipping and crap.

Any idea where I can get one of those Charger tranny dipsticks? Hot commodity.

I'm a little bit embarassed to admit I'm pretty sure I've been drinking a bit more since BK came into the picture this last year....oh well.

My grandfather still has a 1960 something Ford Ranchero and a Buick from the 80's with hundreds of thousands of miles. They will outlive him (literally). He was an airplane mechanic...I should ask him what he used. Those cars will never die, I swear to god.

Can't we be nice here people? Jeez, BK is stressful enough. Let's be friends. Group hug?
You have to buy a stick that the dealer has to put in the fluid or just bring the car to a place that has a flushing machine. My car doesn't have a dip stick neither. I had the Amsoil put in using somebody's flushing machine.

See this Google search about Quaker State:

See the first result in the natural results (not the sponsored listings). There's a site there that compares the major oils. Read the thing about the API motor oil testing and you can see. Quaker State performed poorly on many of those tests. This proves what I was saying about Amsoil all along. I don't care how they market it. This is the best stuff in the world, hands down. I have countless friends and relatives who use it and swear by it. I found out about it in a car club years ago.

BK can be fun... just as long as you have the right Scotch or Jagermeister going down the hatch! LOL!

Also see this Google result for the Charger:

One of those sites has a picture of the car and some of the recommended fluids and what not.

I've seen cars go about 1,000,000 miles. While many people can boast about their cars going 150,000 to 300,000 miles, they can't say they did it performing only 12 oil changes in all that time period. For most people, they should be doing close to 100 oil changes in all that time. I have never seen a better product on the market. If you want your engine and transmission to last, that stuff will beat any synthetic on the market. In the long term it will be 100% free because the gas mileage will pay for the oil. I have saved about $1,000 in fuel costs from using this stuff all this time. I can't stop raving about this stuff because of the amount of engines and trannys it has saved me over the years. I want everyone to use it so that they never need to go back to an AAMCO transmission shop to get their tranny fixed. Why spend $2,000 to rebuild a transmission when you can just spend $200 on an Amsoil ATF flush and do that once every 100k miles? Oil is cheap. Engines are expensive. Forget all of the garbage you see in the auto parts stores. Believe me... this stuff IS THE BEST! Your vehicle will OUTLIVE YOU with this. I swear on my life.
