    Discharged!!!

    Finally after my obsessive non stop checking of Pacer, my discharge was finally there this morning!! Just waiting on closing.

    I must say life after BK has been good to me so far. I've been cash only since Feb 1st and have managed pretty well so far. I've had some minor car maintenance issues come up but luckily I had money saved up so I was able to take care of those. As well as do some things for myself that I had been putting off. I'm looking forward to staying out of debt and not getting into this situation again.

    I turned our paperwork in last week to our Attorney for filing on 9/30/09. We haven't used our credit cards since last August except for a Care Credit I used for Dental Work and paid it off in Dec.

    Here's hoping Closing is just around the corner.

      May 28th - Filed for Ch 7 (FINALLY!)
      9/11/09 - DISCHARGED!!!!

        Mrs. and I included your story in our "almost" official "Victory Dance" celebration as I think you have got a lesson for those about to become free. I see so many who are so worried about getting credit cards again.                 chpt 13 11/25/08 converted 7/7/09 to a 7. No assests and surrendered vehicles...
                9/2009 Scores 515-565 & working up from here...10/9 they havent budged yet....why does our puppy & bk lawyer have the same name...lol Discharged 10/28/09 now the real work begins
