Getting married soon...will bk7 affect my wife?

i recently filed for CHAPTER 7 and got a DISCHARGE on 09-01-09. me and my fiance are getting married on JAN. 2010. my question is will my BK affect my fiance? of course we want to buy a house soon....will my BK be a bog hindrance? i've been searching the web for answers and got a lot of contradicting informations. pls. advice on the issue

If you use your name to get credit it will be an issue. If it's just her that's getting the loan, not a problem.

no don't be silly.
all debts before the marriage is YOURS.
sure it's conjugal but that doesn't affect her credit. you could also get your name on the deed if you want and you won't have to apply for a mortgage with her for that.
