    AAAArt ,
I clicked on the region abbreviation and it brought me to a new page.
I then clicked on query and pick my region and ch7 along with a date range and selected all cases.(open/closed) I saw about 1000 cases and no real problems. I hope I get lucky and nothing goes wrong.

Maybe reading these will make me feel better! I am SO scared about my 341 next Monday (the 14th)
      1. 1st, mine was pro se (joint) that day we were the only pro se on the docket for that time slot.

      2. yes it is perfectly normal to be nervous, trustee can ask you anything
      pertaining to your petition.

3.There were approx. 20 people in the room. We were the 4th case to be called. The guy in front of us got grilled pretty good, he was trying to go
from a 13 to a 7.. Guess he made to much money, out he goes in a huff with his atty.
Anyhow Mom&Pop had there go of it, seemed like nice folks, they had sold a biz, and trust.. wanted
to know what they did with the $$$.They could not explain, so out they go.
Next a single guy was up, no asset case, he was OTD in 3 mins. with a smile.
We are up, nervous , you bet !!!!We were not sure if any creditor would show, one did for the auto we are turning in. The atty. for that creditor was super nice, just wanted to know when he could pick it up. He did sit at the table with us and the trustee just wanted to know who he was and who he represented. We had bank statements, tax returns, trustee did not ask for them.
I was asked about my previous homes that I owned, I have moved quite often., 3 homes in 4 years. The questions was: how much did you pay for them and how much did you make on them, and what did you do with the proceeds. I think it went pretty well, simply
because I have been downsizing on every sale.,(200k down to 125K)and the trustee knew that. So when that line of questioning was over the trustee said no asset case, you are excused.....
      Bottom line is:
if you have anything that you cannot exempt, stocks, bonds, cash, real property, RV's... They are most likely going to ask about it and keep asking
until they get a satisfactory answer....

My Trustee asked few questions.....basic ones.
Then asked for the "title to my home"..... and smiled.
Said Thank You - you can go!

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

Our 341 was okay. We didnt have an overflow crowd and our attorney's name begins with a "H" so we didnt have to wait too long. Our trustee was nice, but firm. She asked a few questions about our medical bills and our income tax refund and that was pretty much it. She and our lawyer were laughing about something right before we left so I thought that was a good sign. We left the courtroom and our attorney said he thought it went well and that she seemed to accept our tuition expense. Little did we know that that would be the hot button issue for the U.S. Trustee. We were under the impression the BK trustee made a recommendation and the U.S. Trustee rarely overrides her...WRONG...I do think we were an exception to the rule and typically that is the case. Regardless we are discharged so the story has a happy ending...
